Info: Warrandyte’s answer to “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”, watch as billy carters compete for immortality in the derby that delivers epic thrills and lots of great prizes and trophies!
Ages: 8 – 15, plus a race for parents

A sensational blend of horns featuring ten of Melbourne's hottest horn players, Hoodoo Mayhem come with a vast cross genre blend of sound and influence.They play dirty and groove hard and are heavily seduced by New Orleans funk and brass, it's a horn blown' beat party not to be missed.
9.30am - Near the Mechanics Institute, 180 Yarra Street
Havana Palava is a street band playing all over Melbourne and regional Victoria. The music is a lively, eclectic mix of African, Caribbean, Gypsy, Klezmer and Blues. They bring a great carnival vibe wherever they perform bursting out choreographed numbers, to lure the crowd in.
9.15am - Outside the Scout Hall, 45 Yarra Street
Get the Buzz!! Three-part harmonies, three smart ukes, one sweet sax. They are the Honeybees. Bringing pizazz and heart to every song, the Honeybees lovingly pay tribute to classic, genre & era spanning favourites.

Info: Form your own mixed-gender teams of six in the following year level groups: Prep –2, Grade 3 – 5, Grade 6 – 8, Year 9 –12 (adults, and under 5yrs unable to participate).
Duration: Each match will be 10 minutes and winning teams will continue to the finals

Duck race

Location: Yarra River (at Police St)
Info: Enter your yellow plastic duck to battle for the glory of making it to the finish line. Will yours be the Duck of the Day?
Purchase ducks: Duck will be for sale at some local schools/ kinders beforehand, or at the Information Tent during the Festival
Entry time: Ducks must be returned by 1.00pm Saturday to go into the race
Decorations: To keep our river healthy, only undecorated ducks will compete in the race
