The Warrandyte Festival Friday 23 to Sunday 25 March 2012

Welcome

The Warrandyte Festival is a celebration of living in and loving Warrandyte (Victoria, Australia).

In March each year, the Festival welcomes thousands of locals, families and participants to experience the unique surroundings and village atmosphere.

On the banks of the Yarra, festival-goers enjoy the duck race, billy cart derby, great live music and fabulous festival fare. The kids are entertained all weekend while adults enjoy the swinging sounds of vibrant bands and catching up with friends.

The 2012 theme is ‘To Dream and Inspire – a celebration of talent’.

Congratulations to our immediate Past President, John Boyle, for being awarded an OAM on Australia Day 2012 for his services to the Warrandyte Festival.

As well as being President of the Festival Committee from 1983-2010, John’s passion for the Warrandyte community also includes his contribution to the Warrandyte Lions Club, Warrandyte Youth Arts Award Committee and Warrandyte Arts and Education Trust.

Well done John – it is a much deserved honour!
