WARRANDYTE FILM FEAST – The Lounge, below Warrandyte Community Church

The Warrandyte Film Feast makes its debut in 2017.
Sixteen short films from different genres will be screened, including Apprentice of the Year, starring Shane Jacobson and two locally made films, Heed and Operative among others. MC for the evening Australian actor Daniel Schepisi.
People’s Choice prizes will be awarded to the most popular short films. This event is being brought to you by Warrandyte Festival and Striking Productions.
Enjoy live music with food and drink available to purchase from 6.00pm. Films commence at 8.00pm. Intermission at 9.00pm followed by the remaining films and awards.
NOTE: Films are not classified and some content may offend.

Missed out on a ticket? Feel free to join us on the night. You won’t get a seat in the movie tent, but you can still enjoy restricted viewing and have a bite to eat.

Battle of the Bands – Main Stage, Upper Reserve
Time: 6.30pm – 10.00pm
Info: Featuring headliner Cardinia, last year’s winner among other local bands and talented young people.
This is a drug, smoke and alcohol free event. Suitable for all ages.
Cost: Free admission. Soft drinks, water and Scouts’ Sausage Sizzle available for purchase.

33rd Warrandyte Art Show Gala Openingpresented by the Rotary Club of Warrandyte Donvale
Time: 7.00pm
Location: Warrandyte Community Church, 57 Yarra St.
Info: Come along on Friday night for a fantastic art auction, silent auction and raffle prizes. Patrons will get first pick from the 500 paintings on display from local and interstate artists.
Cost: $25 inclusive of refreshments, food and festivities (tickets at the door).
